Summary: An amazing location on the Royal Mile right across the street from St. Giles Cathedral. Our room was not in the main building, but was down a Close, through a gate and up 2 flights of stairs. No elevator. The staff carried our bags up to and from the room, so no problem there. Very comfortable in all aspects. A washing/dryer combination machine was a big help, although cycle took over 4 hours. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was nice to have. Included breakfast choices were excellent as was the food. All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful when needed. When we next visit Edinburgh, we will stay there again.
