Positive: Immaculately presented property. So clean. The hosts were welcoming in advance of the visit and provided welcoming treats on arrival. The kitchen fittings and cooking accessories were all clean and in excellent condition. All very welcoming, neat, nice and tidy. Loved the wood burner in the living room. There are laminated instructions for absolutely everything

Negative: We went in February when it was quite cold. There is no central heating and though little oil-filled electric heaters were provided which did a good job it did feel a bit like you were heating one space and staying in it rather than comfortably wondering around. I have stayed in a lot of holiday homes through booking.com and this was the first that didn't offer towels. This is unusual in itself and also given the high quality of everything else provided, including a dog towel! it seems odd not to provide people with towels
