Summary: This home was perfect for our 3 week stay in Sonoma while visiting family and exploring real estate in surrounding areas. It is conveniently located with 15 minute drive to downtown Sonoma, 5-10 minutes to various grocery stores, 35 minutes to Napa and 30 minutes to Petaluma. The house is nicely decorated, warm and cozy and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The second bedroom did not have storage space but the master bedroom was spacious and there was plenty of storage and closet space for both of us. The master bath had a spacious walk in shower which was very convenient for my mom who is in her 90's. We very much enjoyed the large private back yard with beautiful trees and plantings, and the cute front porch with the flowers and plant arrangements. The kitchen has an efficient layout and we cooked many meals during our stay.. The double width driveway was a nice bonus since many cars are parked on the street at night. Lyn is a terrific host. She promptly responded to my many questions prior to our stay and graciously accommodated a last minute reservation change. She also quickly handled a couple of minor issues with lighting at the start of our stay and replaced a few missing kitchen items. We would definitely book this house again next time in Sonoma. Thank you Lyn! The only negative note is the neighbor's dog . For some reason they would let it out in the middle of night and it would bark incessantly for a couple of hours several nights a week. For light sleepers, this will be disruptive.
