Positive: I had a wonderful stay at this property, conveniently located within walking distance to Landmark, Ayala Malls, and SM North Edsa. The property is well-equipped with all the necessities, including a comfortable bed, functioning air conditioning, and a TV with Netflix installed. The WiFi connection is decent, and most appliances work as expected. Self-check-in was easy, although it did require verification at the front desk. The host was communicative and responsive to our concerns and requests. We appreciated the city view and found the aesthetic to be satisfactory. Additionally, the pool management was friendly and welcoming.
Negative: I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the property, particularly the toilet, which had a strong unpleasant odour when we opened it for the first time.The bidet was present but not functional due to rust, and it leaked when turned on. The toilet seat was wet when we arrived, clearly means no one has paid attention to this detail. The listing mentioned a dishwasher, but it was not available. Instead, the host seemed to imply that the sink and tap constituted a 'dishwasher'. I suggest removing this amenity from the listing to avoid confusion. We encountered several issues with toiletries, including empty or partially filled containers. When we requested toilet paper, the host informed us that it was not included in the provided amenities. However, we appreciated the prompt provision of kitchen towels when we asked for tissues. Other essential supplies, such as dish and bathroom soap, needed replenishment. We requested the host to top them up, but only the dish soap was refilled, leaving us to refill the body wash ourselves. The swimming pool access was not clearly communicated. We discovered that it was not included in the booking payment and required an additional fee, plus a bank transfer charge. The host needed to book the pool access in advance, which caused a brief delay. There is also a 'CLAYGO' policy, which imposes extra charges "if" leaving the property untidy or dirty. During our stay, we noticed that the cleaner had access to the room, despite us having the room key. Fortunately, nothing was taken. The wardrobe in the room contains bedding, linen, and other items that seem to have been there for a while, with some insect smell. Lastly, be aware that you will be charged for using the bottled water stocked in the fridge. It's more cost-effective to purchase water outside. Overall, our experience was marred by these issues, and I hope the host will address these concerns to improve future guests' stays.
Summary: Good, but not great. Potential for improvement to make it worth the stay.
