Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Sioned, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. An excellent welcome basket was sitting on the table- a bottle of beer!!, chocolate Hobnobs, a traditional Welsh Bara Brith cake, Welsh biscuits. There was milk in the fridge and coffee and tea in the kitchen. She even made an extra trip back with additional firewood without being asked. The cottage is small, could be a problem if you have lots of luggage, but very well equipped. It is ideal for a couple, or family with one or two small children. We were three adults, and while it was ok, the bunk bed was a little tight for an adult - me :). The multi-fuel burner was great in the cooler evenings, it made the the living room very cozy and relaxing. Location is excellent; a five minute walk to the Snowdon Railway and Dolbadarn castle. Ten minute walk into the village and fifteen to the beautiful Ceunant Mawr waterfall. Parking outside is a real bonus. The road can be busy during the day, but was fairly quiet at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Negative: Very little. As mentioned above it is small, but we knew that when we booked it.
