Positive: location near sea and centre of town was excellent location near beach club should have been ok but was really bad because loud music played until 2-3am every night and noise of departing customers went on for another hour or two We had to sleep with windows closed[very hot and stuffy with no air conditioning] and with ear plugs which cut down the noise slightly but not enough to allow peaceful uninterupted sleep
Negative: see answer above. French law says music must stop at 10 pm!! Reported 3 times to police but they took no action. On the last week the cleaner told the owners father. He was the local prefecture.He contacted the mayor, the police and the bar owner and matters improved greatly for the final 6 days Not at all satisfactory in such an expensive rental!!
Summary: fabulous house garden and pool. beach bar spoiled it all.
