Dickie Lake is shallow and there are rocks. It's fine for fishing boats and Sea Doos but larger boats are not recommended

Waterfront The lake bottom is shallow, with a combination of sand, rock, silt, and mud. The water is mostly clear of weeds in the swimming area.

Santa's Village. It's always Christmas in Bracebridge! Kids will be delighted by this park, full of rides and attractions, and be able to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus too. 60 acres of family fun. (35 mins)
High Falls Bay Waterpark. High Falls Waterpark is a unique eco-conscious beachfront waterpark in the heart of Muskoka. 1500 ft of sandy beaches on a beautiful private lake and looking directly at three sets of waterfalls, including the magnificent High Falls waterfalls. You can relax on the beach to the sound of the falls, take a boat ride, or enjoy some of the many amenities and services. (20 mins)
Golfing. Bigwin Island Golf Club is just 15 minutes from the cottage. In the surrounding area, Grandview Golf Club, Huntsville Downs Golf Course, Deerhurst Lakeside Golf Course, North Granite Ridge Golf Course, South Muskoka Curling & Golf Club, Muskoka Highland Golf Links, Taboo Muskoka Golf Course, The Fairways at Kirrie Glen are all within 35 mins. of the cottage.
Dad's of Muskoka Disk Golf. Short, wooded and tight with multiple elevation changes and course features (boardwalks, stairs, bridges, raised tees) through rustic forest. (20 mins)
Muskoka Drive In. Enjoy an outdoor movie at one of the few remaining drive in's in Ontario! (30 mins)
Winter Activities. Snowmobiling and ice fishing are nearby, and the cottage is just 35 minutes from both Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Resort for downhill skiing, and Arrowhead Provincial Park offers cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and an amazing ice skating trail through the forest!
