Summary: The property management made our check-in experience very simplistic and effortless in regards to actually getting into our apartment. The apartment was also very conveniently located in relation to downtown and the very popular “Pine St”.. which has every necessity you would possibly need during your stay. Although, the place itself did not feel as clean as we thought it would be after seeing the pictures on Hotels.com. Normally, this level of uncleanliness wouldn’t have been much of a concern to us.. We would have otherwise been happy regardless knowing we were in an apartment rather than some “low-class” motel. Although, considering the given circumstances amidst “COVID-19”.. We felt a little uneasy in regards to our safety and staying healthy. We sanitized any and all “highly touchable” surfaces upon our arrival. OH!! ..and speaking of feeling “uneasy”!! As we walked back to what we considered “home” during short stay in Long Beach.. We noticed we had several visitors making a monstrosity in the street our front of our building.. on visitor being the CORONER!! Although we proceeded back inside as quickly as we could! Unfortunately it was not quick enough.. Since we saw a stretcher with a white sheet over it headed directly toward us on the first floor! (We we’re staying on the 2nd) ..if that didn’t spell it out for you enough already, SOMEONE DIED WHILE WE WERE STAYING THERE! To top things off, the maid opened the door on us as we were checking out with NO MASK ON!!
