It has remained golden by proving to be a quiet, charming city with easy access to downtown Denver, stunning views of the Rocky Mountains, 122 parks and more than 140 miles of trails – marked with at least seven public bicycle repair stations. It’s said each Arvada resident lives within 10 minutes‘ walking distance to a park.
Zooming out, you will notice that Arvada is an ideal jumping-off point for exploring Denver, Golden, Boulder, Rocky Mountain National Park, ski country, mountain towns, Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, and much, much more. Getting Around:
You’ll have access to the driveway and garage. If you do park on the street, street sweeping regulations are posted and strictly enforced, so follow the rules to avoid getting a ticket. Typically, you will be able to park on the same block as the unit.
For those without a car, we suggest utilizing a ride sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Both are readily available in Denver and its suburbs. Denver is very walkable, and you will see rental bikes and scooters scattered around town. From Union Station downtown, you can catch a light rail to several other neighborhoods, including Arvada.
If you’ve never been to Denver, it’s easy to get oriented. The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Downtown is Southeast of Arvada. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while I-70 East intersects with I-25 for access to Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder, and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park. Get exploring!
