This unique home was built in 1890. It has all the old home charm you would expect but updated with modern amenities. The name Donerail House comes from the biggest long shot winner in Kentucky Derby history, with odds of 91–1. Who doesn't love a great underdog story?
Once you enter, you are greeted with the foyer where you can leave your cares and shoes at the door. This leads straight into the fully equipped kitchen overlooking your private deck. On the deck, you can enjoy a nice meal cooked on the BBQ or just a drink by the fire and string lights at sunset.
Walking back passed the foyer, you will then find a cozy and moody living room as well as the master bedroom with king bed. There is also a full bath on the first floor and a small work station.
Making your way up the stairs, you will find an attic bedroom with laundry, and a kids play area. There is also another bedroom with a king bed and a newly renovated ensuite bathroom.
This home is the perfect home base for couples, a few friends, or a small family to enjoy your Louisville adventures.
