Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was great -- an easy walk to downtown Lake Placid and a short drive to Mount Van Hoevenberg. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Not a fancy place but rustic and charming; had everything we needed for a weekend watching the cross country world cup and celebrating Jessie Diggins' retirement.

Negative: Walls are pretty thin. No place to hang clothes other than hooks for coats or right above the area where we kept our food and made coffee.

Summary: Perfect for our visit to the cross country World Cup finals -- good value for the $ and comfortable
