Cozy attached mother-in-law suite on a family home. Queen bed & private bath. Shared front patio.
Renovated mother-in-law suite with private smart-keyed entrance, hot shower, kitchenette, and a comfy queen sized bed.
The space is private, but you're connected to full-family home. It's pretty quiet in the room, but it’s definitely possibly that you might hear us.
Bathroom has a short-step-in shower with a mounted/hand-held shower head – plenty of pressure.
Kitchenette has mini-fridge, dishes, bowls, coffee mugs, coffee maker, tea, electric kettle, counter-top induction burner (with pots and a pan), cooking utensils, and a counter-height stool.
Bedroom space has a semi-firm queen bed, ceiling fan, and dedicated AC/heat unit (with controller). There’s no TV in the suite.
You'll have private access to the private bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. You are welcome to sit on the front porch, but we might use it as well. (We'll make plenty of space for you.)

10-15 min to Executive Airport, Downtown, or Full Sail
15-20 min to UCF
20 min to Rollins
25-40 min to Parks
< 60 min to the closest beaches
New (2020) addition on a 1950s home in a historic east Orlando neighborhood. Easy access to 408W, VERY easy to 408E.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME staying somewhere on VRBO, we will need you to assure us that you've read the whole listing. We just need to know that you're agreeing to them. When you request to stay with us, we'll ask some questions that we'll need to know the answers to before we can confirm your request. We're sorry to have to put these hurdles in front of first-time guests, but the only "problem guests" we have had were first-time travelers with VRBO who had no reviews and hadn't read all of the rules.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, VAPING, CANDLES, OPEN FLAMES, OR INCENSE IN THE SUITE.
You'll probably be able to park in the driveway; we can't guarantee it, but there's never a shortage of street parking.

Checking Out
Check-out is 11:00 AM unless previously arranged. Lock the door behind you by touching the Yale button any time you’re leaving, and message us that you have checked out. Please sign the guest book!
Late Checkout
Late checkout must be requested, agreed to, and paid for before 10:00 AM. It is available for up to 2 hours (1:00 PM) at a cost of ⅛ of your nightly fee per half hour.

Quiet Hours: 10p-8a. (You’re pretty well sound-isolated from the rest of the house, really just no parties.)

Cleaning
We charge a bare-minimum cleaning fee, and to see if you actually read the house rules, anyone who mentions the word “applesauce” before your reservation is accepted, and leaves the suite reasonably clean will get twenty dollars refunded, unless we’ve already agreed to another discount. Please wash any dishes you used before you check out and leave them on the mat to dry. Lock the door when you leave.
Rules We've Had to Add:
No smoking, vaping, candles, open flames, or incense. Any lingering smoke smell that is not clearly from accidentally burning your food will incur a $500 cleaning fee. We ask that guest not smoke anywhere on the property unless they're in their own car with the windows up.
All guests' names must be listed on the reservation, please no blanks in the 'extra guest' spaces. *No one allowed in the property who is not on the reservation, without prior approval by us through VRBO messages.*
Unlisted overnight guests will be charged a fee at 3x your normal 1-person per-night fee or you could have your booking canceled with no refund. Any person in the suite between 11pm-6am will be considered an overnight guest.
Service animals may not be left alone in the space for any length of time.
