Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: This was an ideal place to stay for access to the city with a regular bus route just outside. The shower was really good. The bed was very comfortable. Despite no oven, we were able to prepare meals with the air frier, hob, and microwave. There was free parking on the road around the corner. There's lots of shops, pubs, and take away places within walking distance.

Negative: Being on a main road at times, there was a lot of noise outside. A net curtain on the window would have been nice as everyone on the top deck of the buses could see straight into the flat. It was nice to have the option of a washing machine. Unfortunately, there was nowhere obvious to dry washing. Attention to detail is needed in a few areas, the toilet had the unsightly residue from a sticker on it, wires could have been placed better to look tidy, the shelves that have been placed to divide the room make it feel closed in, a few of the floorboards creaked quite loudly (I know it's an old building). These are just small issues that could easily be fixed and would have made me vote this place a 10 rather than a 9.
