Beautiful saltillo tiles throughout the home. The well-appointed living room has a wall of windows with sliders to a small screened veranda; an antique armoire houses a flat-screened tv, stereo, DVD player; there's also WIFI. The master bedroom has an en-suite bath with tub/shower combo and a mahogany four poster bed. It's open to the veranda, so you can fall asleep to the sound of the surf. The guest room has a queen-sized sleigh bed and private bath, with a tub/shower combo. The bright white kitchen was redone in the fall of 2014 with new appliances and Shaker-style cabinetry. The counters and backsplash are custom-made mosaic tiles. There is also a 4 person hardwood dining area and washer/dryer for your convenience.
The unit is steps from a large, private, uncrowded beach and pool area. Lunches are a snap at the friendly beach bar where you can meet other guests. The pool is great for laps and the long winding entry road is great for that early morning walk or run. But that's not all-- Gentle Winds has four holes of golf to practice your putting and great golf courses nearby, a Robert Trent Jones at Carambola and the scenic Buccaneer Course just outside of Christiansted. There are two private tennis courts. A short walk away there are kayaking tours at Salt River, a bioluminescent bay; and world class diving at the wall at Cane Bay is only a stone's throw. And St. Croix is becoming a restaurant destination spot for all of you foodies. Great restaurants abound.
