Carefully restored, it has an open plan layout all on one level which leads out to a beautiful court yard surrounded by trees & flowers, lovely for dining alfresco. Features include high ceilings, wooden floors & original stone walls, it´s decorated to a high standard with all modern facilities & has a very cosy feel. Steps at one end lead up to a private terrace with amazing views of the Bay & it gets the sun all day. The cottage is detached & opposite the main villa, the two rental properties are separated by the courtyard with a lovely olive tree that gives shade & privacy. On the other side of the property steps take you down to the pool with fantastic views over Funchal & a decked area for sun bathing. Free private parking & airport transfers can be arranged.
