This home has just about every amenity you could imagine. Walking inside, you will find spacious rooms full of natural light, beautiful wood and stone finishes, and plenty of great hangout areas for your family to enjoy. The living room has ample, plush seating options and a large TV, well suited for movie marathons. The fireplace is ready to warm you up from a day out exploring. The game room features a foosball table, pool table, massage chair, vintage pinball machine, and comfortable seating. You will also find plenty of board games and puzzles for more entertainment.
The two well equipped kitchens give your group many food prep options. The upper kitchen is a chefs delight with a large butcher block island and an expanded gas Wolf range, featuring double ovens and a griddle. A massive breakfast bar and dining area offers enough space for everyone to enjoy a delicious meal, while viewing the mountains. The lower full kitchen also affords mountain views and includes an additional dining area, family room with a stone fireplace, and plenty of cozy seating.
Comfort awaits guests in each of the eight carefully decorated bedrooms. From the owner's suite, enjoy private access to the expansive main deck and hot tub, as well as private access to the upper deck and loft . The primary bedroom, with TV, has a private ensuite bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. The other seven bedrooms are inviting with comfortable beds, dressers, and ample closet space. Some bedrooms include private TV viewing. The house has 5 full bathrooms, two with tubs, as well as two sets of washer/dryers.
The outdoor areas will be a family favorite. After a scenic walk in the neighborhood, enjoy a game of ping pong or lounge on the main deck. Soak in the hot tub or head up to the private in ground pool area, where the views are second to none. There is plenty of furniture to lounge on after a refreshing dip in the pool. A well-equipped pool house, including half bath and changing room, comes furnished with a full fridge, sink, and dining table for some poolside meals and additional space for hanging out. There is also a grill and outdoor games at the pool to create your perfect BBQ. The poolside firepit is a great after dark spot for marshmallow roasting and storytelling.
This property is conveniently located nearby to numerous recreation areas and attractions. Be sure to check out the Sunday River Resort and all of their year round happenings. Enjoy some golf at one of two different 18 hole courses just around the corner or head out on a hike to the Step Falls Preserve or take a short drive for some hiking at the Grafton Notch State Park. Also, explore the nearby Mt Abram Ski Area & Bike Park. Take a swim at Frenchman’s Hole or try a day floating or fishing on the river.
The Maine Mineral & Gem Museum is located in the nearby town of Bethel, where you will find shopping, restaurants, movie theater and bowling activity center.
