4 Bedroom House in Warnick, Deming
This home was built - literally, with their own hands - by the Swiss Society of Vancouver in 1983. You may notice the plaque outside the front door that commemorates the house’s official opening. Originally operated as a hostel, the Society’s members could rent bunks for ski weekends and getaways. This explains some of the house’s quirks - like two bathrooms right next to each other (originally one each for boys and girls). We fell in love with this house and decided to honour its history by naming it the Swiss Embassy and kept a few special Swiss touches when updating it to a modern vacation home. We hope you enjoy!
WEDDINGS & LARGE GROUPS: Our septic system is not large - as such, we cannot accommodate large groups. Please, no parties, receptions or guests over the listed amount. If the septic system backed up into the house, that would be very very bad!
