This unique and incredible apartment is brand new to VRBO and we're thrilled to be offering this impressive property to our new and previous guests.
There are so many benefits to staying at this brand-new apartment that you'll want to take a good look through the listing to see just how many wonderful features it has for your next stay in London.
You will be able to take it easy at this unique and spectacular getaway as well as being so close to some of the most infamous sites in London.
The space
One of the best things about this 'London Sky Home' is that it is 100% accessible for guests with a need for a wheelchair. From the moment you arrive, you will be able to access the property through a wide gated area which will lead you along a wide path and to the lift which takes you up to the Sky Home!!!! There are no stairs at all to contend with (other than a set of stairs that lead up to the third bedroom which we would anticipate would be used by others in a group).
All doorways, corridors, and showers in the bathrooms are accessible for a wheelchair user and the toilet is raised for ease of use also.
Further to that, in this beautiful 'home away from home' you will also find everything you need (and if you find something missing - we will look into providing it!). We have stacked it full of crockery, utensils, more than enough mugs, cups, glasses, and plates as well as extra blankets for cool nights in.
For the kids, our bedroom upstairs is a perfect 'hideaway' for them to play board games, watch their devices and indeed sleep without getting in the way of the adults (if they want to of course!)
This Sky Home was affectionately named by the owner who lovingly designed it to 'bring in the sky'! The quirky angles throughout the property make it incredibly unique and fun and we've even added strip lighting throughout to add to the fun for those nights in when cooking or watching TV.
As we say, we are so excited to offer this to guests now as it really has so much to offer to our international, local, and corporate guests who are looking for a great London experience.
Guest access
Guests will have access via a private gate. The gate then leads to a path where they will find a lockbox for self-check-in. Once the guests have the keys, they will then go through a security gate that leads to their own front entrance. The entrance gives them access to the lift which takes them directly into the apartment. There are no stairs.
We inform our guests that we have a RING doorbell/camera at the front gate prior to entering the property for the safety of our guests and local residents.
Other things to note
We want to inform our guests that the third bedroom is on a mezzanine level and doesn't have a door. It is an open-plan area and we presume for it to accommodate children better than adults. However, it would still suit a group of adults looking for more beds for their stay! We have implemented curtains and a screen to block the light from the downstairs area. Please look at the photos to understand the layout a little better.
We would also add that the dedicated workspace is inside the main bedroom where there is a desk with the necessary sockets and space required for someone needing the space to work whilst away from their own home/office. The space on the mezzanine level is also a great space to work from and we have provided a table and some chairs to enable working whilst away from home/office
