Summary: We had to stay in bangkok due to our flight overbooking on the first night of our stay. We called the hotel and explained the situation, and asked for the cancellation of the first night. We would be able to make the other four nights. They did nothing, they told us to go to Samui via flight plus boat from surat thani which takes around 6-7 hours and the last boat ends around evening, which we considered but was not an option for us. Then they offered us treats offered to every honeymoon guests, ahain nothing special due to our trip problem. Even the boutique hotels cancel one night in these cases. The breakfast and cleanliness was just average. But the hotel staff was really helpful and felt special during our stay, thats why I increas the ranking to 3.
