The property is within walking distance of both the Castlerock beach and Downhill beach (where some scenes for Game Of Thrones were filmed) , the golf course, railway station and all local tourist attractions and is a 20-25 minute drive from all local towns and neighbouring Portstewart and venue for the 148th British Open Portrush.
Castlerock is a quiet seaside village with a beautiful beach and walks that take you round the historic Downhill Castle and Demesne, Mussenden Temple, Black Forest and Lions Gates. The nearest airport is City of Derry which is approximately a 40 mile drive.
Castlerock Golf Club is just a 10 minute walk from the property and offers an 18 hole championship course and a 9 hole course which will challenge even the lowest of handicaps, Portstewart and Royal Portrush home of the 148th Open Championship are only a 20-25 minute drive away and for the more relaxed golfers there is a 9 hole par 3 course at Benone just a 10 minute drive.
Fishermen can enjoy Moorbrook Lodge which is a 5 minute drive and offers course fishing and fly fishing for big rainbow trout and brown trout, the river Roe offers good salmon fishing from July to late October and is only a 20 minute drive to the lower tidal stretchs where salmon are taken right to the end of season, the property owner can arrange day tickets.
