Travel Purpose: business

Positive: I thought that the rooms were huge for NYC and well-appointed! Typically, when you go to New York, you expect a tiny room, but this one was a great size, and the bed was comfortable. It felt like a hotel room you would get in another US city, based on its size. Also, there was a good amount of lighting, so I never felt like I was straining to see. Additionally, the design was nice and updated.

Negative: I did find my hallway to be particularly loud from other guests. I wouldn't say soundproofing is great, maybe okay room to room, but I could hear everything going on in the hallway. That being said, I called down to the front desk to get that sorted, and they did send someone up, which I was appreciative of.

Summary: Excellent location, big updated rooms that are hard to find in NYC
