Summary: I can’t say enough great things about our experience renting The Farm @ Deer Crossing. We rented the entire property for our micro-wedding weekend and were so fortunate to get to host 19 of our closest friends and family right there on the property with us. We had people staying in the main house, the cabin, the oh deer cabin, the camper, the glamping tent, and my husband and I stayed in the Nest/treehouse. Every guest saw deer multiple times, including me, outside the window of the main house, just a couple minutes before I walked down the aisle. Donna and her husband arranged a firewood delivery for us and we used the large fire pit every night of our stay, including after the wedding. There was a hot tub which was awesome, and several grills around the property. The main house was a great little “communal” spot for gathering. My girls and I got ready for the wedding there. There is big open space for entertaining and a large bar that we served breakfast snacks and mimosas on. The inside of the barn was the perfect size for our 40-person wedding (could probably host larger weddings in the space outside the barn or behind the main house). Our guests felt very comfortable in their separate lodging options and said the convenience and community-feeling of being at the farm together made it the most fun and unique celebration they have been a part of. I feel like I’m rambling but I can’t say enough good things! Donna and her husband were endlessly helpful and very prompt and communicative. We felt confident if we had any issues that we would have the assistance we needed. The woods and fields and trees at the Farm were such a wonderful backdrop to our perfect weekend. Guests got to walk back to a barn on the property and meet goats while they waited for the ceremony and everyone loved that. The event barn itself has a super cool tin & wood bar that really makes the space! Gorgeous lighting inside the barn. Fun little clawfoot tub inside the barn for filling with ice and beer. We actually hired Donna’s daughter, Kylie, to be our bartender and that was another super great choice! She was great and made delicious speciality cocktails for us. Each lodging option around the property is so unique and fun and were well equipped with warm bedding, coffee, and endless cute details. We originally had a large wedding planned and had to re-think everything due to COVID. Best decision ever. Our wedding @ The Farm was more than we could have dreamed. Thank you!!
