Positive: A well equipped little cottage. A little quaint and quirky we loved the setting and the garden, which was private and great to sit out in after a day out. For railway fans having to cross the Ffestiniog Railway added extra charm - several trains were waved at from the garden gate! A great location to explore this beautiful and no too busy part of North Wales. Great walks from the cottage too. WE walked up to the local Ffestiniog railway station, caught the train back to town and walked back to the cottage - a great afternoon loop. We had a small issue with the shower, but the owners were very good, easy to communicate with and got it sorted out - thanks.

Negative: Nothing we didn't really like, but a couple of observations. If you are getting a bit stiff in the back and limbs then you might find the upstairs a bit challenging, ducking beneath roof timbers to get to and from the bed for example. - all part of the charm and delight. Also if someone was not very mobile the access could be a bit of a struggle. Something to note, you park on the roadside in the village and walk a few yards/metres to get to the cottage. the area is very quiet and we found the community very "villagey" and friendly.
