Positive: Absolutely fantastic, a big cottage in a small village/hamlet. Big bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a dedicated games room, lounge and a large kitchen /dining area with a giant table to sit around and enjoy each other's company and have a few drinks of course. We booked this for my mother's 70th and it didn't disappoint. She loved the property and having her family around her. I have never in my life experienced such a peaceful location. I sat out the back for half an hour when the kids weren't wanting me to participate in their Nintendo Wii marathon and all I could hear were birds chirping on and the stream at the end of the car park and that fresh air, wonderful-honestly. I slept like a baby it was so quiet. We're a family from a town centre, entirely unaccustomed to a lack of noise pollution and our stay here magnified the life us concrete jungle dwellers lead. This cottage is special, the location is refreshingly remote (there's a co-op and pubs within a 20 minute drive if you want to leave the cottage) and so peaceful. The lady who owns the property is an absolute sweetheart. Everything we needed she made sure we had. Thank you Susie, your cottage is special ❤️.

Negative: Nothing to dislike but I'd have loved a BBQ out the back especially since it was warm but we were very happy with the cooking facilities provided. A log burner would have been nice however understand why that isn't a great idea for a holiday let. Also a hot tub would have been an addition that would have improved our experience but no complaints, we loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat.
