Positive: Pic Janvier is in a great location, close to one of the main lifts in Les Praz. However, having a car is necessary if you want to get to the city center easily. The accommodation itself was very comfortable for two couples, with two main bedrooms, an additional loft space, two bathrooms, and three toilets. The well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine were particularly useful for a ski trip. We also appreciated the garage, which was perfect for storing ski equipment. It also had a dedicated parking spot. The apartment had all the essentials—towels, toiletries, a hairdryer—and the heating system worked perfectly, keeping us warm throughout our stay. Another plus was the easy communication with the staff, who were always available online.
Negative: Unfortunately, we were not very happy with the level of cleanliness. We found dirty dishes in one of the cabinets, including eggs left behind. While Alpes Travel did send someone the next day to collect them after we reported it, they didn’t seem particularly concerned. They didn’t offer additional cleaning or any form of compensation, instead implying it was the fault of the previous guests.
