About this space
A beautiful cottage set in a two acre garden featuring lawns, crafted borders and unsploilt woodland, with the most spectacular views across the Cambrian Mountains and Rhiedol Valley. This makes for a memorable family holiday in a real 'get away from it all' location. Evenings sat on the patio are a must, with so little in the way of light pollution the stars are amazing. A great base to explore in the daytime with bike trails and seaside towns of Aberystwyth and Borth a short distance away.

The cottage is situated in the small village of Goginan on the A44 between Capel Bangor and Ponterwyd.
Goginan is about 7 miles outside Aberystwyth.
You can access the Nant Yr Arian bike trails directly from the village, no need to go in the car!
There is a pub, The Druid Inn
The nearest shop is Ponterwyd garage shop, which is about 5 miles away.
There are 2 buses that run through the village, the 525, from Llanidloes to Aberystwyth and X47, from Llandridnod Wells to Aberystwyth via Rhayader, llangurig and Ponterwyd. The bus stops are about a 5 minute walk from the cottage.
Having a car is more ideal if you want to explore and take in some of the sights. Nearby attractions include The Magic of Life Butterfly House, Bwlch Nant Yr Arian Forest Visitor Centre, Silver Mountain Experience. As well as the nearby seaside towns of Aberystwyth and Borth.

Check-in time is from 4pm onwards and check-out time is before 10am.
Please note: There is a £100 charge for lost keys and £50 charge for call outs, so please be careful with the keys.

The bunk beds are not suitable for Adults.

This property has a septic tank and so please use the bins provided for sanitary waste. Toilet paper is fine but no wipes etc must be flushed down the toilet.
LOG BURNER
There is a log burner in the living room. You are welcome to make use of this but please use responsibly and follow the guest manual instructions, plus, please note we will provide a small supply of wood in the fireplace cupboard upon your arrival. Please only use logs.
The doors should be kept shut when the stove is lit. When the burner is in use it gets very hot so please take care and use the tool provided to open the door to add fuel. There is no permanent fireguard, so if you have young children staying in the property, please use your judgement and extreme caution as to if/when you use the stove. Fire must be put out when not attended.
PARKING
Lower drive way can be used but it is advised that only 4wd vehicles. The top drive has recently been covered with tarmac and has a gravel bottom.
