Summary: The room was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The bed was not as advertised. We were promised a queen or two twin beds. We got a small full size mattress. The property is very dated. No couch, just a futon which was so low to the ground it was very difficult to get up from. The phones in the room didn’t work so thankfully we didn’t have an emergency. There was one small tv in the living area that didn’t work. The staff came up and finally got a few channels on it. No TV in the bedroom. There was a window a/c unit in the bedroom and a portable a/c in the living area. They worked but their remotes didn’t always work. It was easy to get an Uber or Lyft. The next time I’m in NYC I will spend a little more if needed to get a nicer hotel with more amenities.
