The rental is in a secluded and quiet area of Placencia Peninsula. Pelican Perch is right in front of the ocean and has a great dock from where you can enjoy the sunrise. We recommend a car so that you can easily move around the peninsula. Placencia town is 13 miles away and on the way, you will find other towns like Maya Beach where you can dine, find scuba diving and snorkeling centers, and some grocery stores. If you go north instead, you can tour around the cacao farms, go hiking, enjoy waterfalls, and go tubing down the river.
