Our house sits in the center of Round Pond village, just several hundred yards from the ocean.
The house has a beautiful deck with a gorgeous view of the water and it abuts a large parcel of protected land that is full of wildflowers and shades of green in the warmer months.
Our house is a classic New England Cape with 2,100 sq ft and lots of gorgeous vintage details. There is a primary bedroom with queen bed, a guest bedroom with a full bed and a 3rd bedroom with a twin bed. We also have a nice pull out sofa and a separate mattress in a lofted area for flexibility with additional sleeping.
The house has a large living room, kitchen with breakfast/lunch table and a dining room (as well as additional office space). There is a large recording studio that can double as an office. Several of the rooms in the house are equipped with mini-split air conditioners. There is a fireplace and propane heating.
We have fast fiber optic internet (via Spectrum), thus remote work is easily possible. The speed test reads 475 mbps download and 23 mbps upload.
We have kayaks available for you to use that can be walked down to the ocean on small trolleys. There is also an infrared sauna available for guest use.
There are many beautiful hiking trails nearby, including a small nature preserve within walking distance of the house. Round Pond Coffee Shop and the Granite Hall store are right across the street. It is a short 3-4 minute walk to the The Anchor restaurant, Round Pond Lobster, Muscongus Bay Lobster and King Ro Market. Please note that some of these businesses are seasonal and usually open around Memorial Day weekend. The town of Damariscotta is a 15 minute drive away and has larger grocery stores and more restaurants.
