Summary: We were disappointed to learn—at the very last minute—that our original booking had been double booked. It was a stressful surprise, especially so close to our travel date. That said, the host did step up quickly and offered us a different home to stay in. While it wasn’t the ideal start to our trip and not the home we had originally chosen, we appreciate that a solution was found promptly and we were still able to enjoy our marathon weekend. Credit where it’s due for the quick recovery in a tough situation.
