Positive: First summer break with young children self catering as always gone all inclusive four or five star. The apartments are really big, clean, very well equipped and in a great location. The size meant the children had their own space which was great. Nice to have a washing machine (handy with kids) and a decent coffee maker. The air-conditioning was exceptional as well. Pool area was never busy despite it being peak holidays so great for the afternoons after the beach. Getting checked in was easy with great communication via WhatsApp on the day to set up a meeting time. The supermarket a few doors down is really good and the beach just a few minutes walk is fantastic (invest in an umbrella from style market and a sand screw base 15 mins walk away as you will need it for under 20 euros). There are quite a few good restaurants nearby but if you like more tourist ones they are a nice 20 minute walk South along the seafront in the evening. Tram is great to get into Alicante for a day and it stops a few mins away. Just get a ticket on the tram from the machine in each carriage. If unsure there are YouTube videos on how to change the language on the machine and use them, but 1.45 euro each way is great value. No taxi ranks for the airport run nearby but prebooked transfers were coming in at circa 160 euros which is silly Just take a taxi from outside the airport and use the Pidetaxi app to book a return (basically Uber as Uber isn't well covered here). Cost circa 40 euros each way and we had two very large cases plus hand luggage. People are really quick to write poor reviews about properties but not so quick when its a genuinely an amazing property. This really is a great place to stay.
