Summary: The historic Murray Hotel remains THE place to stay in Livingston. It's a civic institution for one thing, a centerpiece of town with vibrant businesses under its wing. But it's also a darn fun place to stay, with comfortable rooms and suites updated (but not too much), just the right touch of civilized and outlaw. Maybe it's not exactly cheap, but its for-bucks value is indisputable. It earns the plaudit -- a true Western classic. Do yourself a favor: Splurge on the Murray, if you have to, but you'll be glad you did!
