Minturn's historic downtown is located less than 100 yards from the Townhouse and provides year-round shopping, dining, bars, and activities. In winter, hop on the free bus to the Vail Village base area for easy skiing access without the hassle of parking. Adventurous, expert skiers can shred back to town via the Minturn Mile, a popular backcountry run accessed from Vail's Game Creek Bowl. Once the snow melts, the area truly comes alive with hiking, fishing, road and mountain biking, hunting, backpacking, whitewater rafting, and much more. MountainAir is less than 1/2 a mile from several trailheads and 5 miles from the Half Moon Trailhead of the iconic Mount of the Holy Cross 14er, making it an ideal launch pad for all of Eagle County’s outdoor adventures.
