Open light filled and clutter free space with views of pine trees from every window. This beautiful modern one bedroom has a full kitchen and bathroom and is completely detached from the main house, guests have both indoor and outdoor privacy. We designed this home with a view to living here when we retire so it has many upgrades that you will not find in other rentals in the area and is permitted by Nevada County as a legal second home.
It is well situated in the Sierra Foothills, 5 minutes drive to Grass Valley and 10 minute drive to Nevada City. The house has both air-conditioning for hot summer days and a gas fire to keep you cozy in winter. You will see deer and all kinds of wildlife outside your windows and there are hiking trails from the house where you can walk to Empire Mine and hike for hours.
Nevada County has been voted one of the most romantic towns, best river town and community orientated town by Sunset Magazine. We also have one of the best music scenes outside of Austin, Texas. Our place is perfect for a longer term stay in Nevada County.
We welcome long term stays of a month or longer, those who are coming to the area for work, on longer stay vacations or thinking about moving to our little town.
