Positive: Lovely little cottage on the river Holme, beautifully restored & furnished, immaculately clean & stocked with everything we needed plus some nice little extra touches like fresh bread & milk when we arrived, logs & kindling for the log burner, bathrobes in the bathroom. Kate was so helpful with her recommendations for the area & kept us well informed about our arrival process & parking. Lovely shortish (20 min) walk mostly along the river into Holmfirth or slightly longer walks heading up Holme valley & around the reservoirs. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony over the river listening to the water & birds singing.
