Positive: Apartment Spacious bedrooms, all spotlessly clean. A large double bed in each room and large wardrobes for clothing. Only thing missing was clothes hangers, but I’m sure the owners would be able to provide these. Living space was very spacious, a casual dining table in the kitchen and a more formal dining table in the dining area. A very comfy couch in the living room. The heavy doors and windows meant we felt very secure in the apartment. There was a large balcony off the living room with a table and chairs and clothes rack for drying clothes. A smaller balcony was off the bedroom. The kitchen had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. A real home from home. The bathroom was again spacious with a lovely powerful shower and mini washing machine for convenience. Location Situated just a short stroll from the storefront, the location was excellent as a base to either relax in one space or tour the lake. There was an abundance of delicious restaurants, bakeries and fruit shops around the Rivoltella area, and a 20 minute stroll along the shore takes you into the centre of Desenzano. Although there was no private parking at the apartment , there is a car park just 2 minutes up the street which always had spaces. The Penny supermarket is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment and there is a large park, tennis courts, beach club and bathing areas within a stones throw of the apartment. We had regular communication with the owner via WhatsApp and they were so friendly and could not have been anymore helpful with any questions we had.
Negative: The pool was lovely and we did enjoy using it, however there isn’t a lot of bathing space around the pool and I feel it would benefit from being tiled around it, rather than grass just for comfort. However we really did have some lovely times relaxing in the pool on the warm afternoons and this is just a suggestion.
