Positive: The hotel is located on a small, beautiful island close to Norrtälje. We loved the natural surroundings and the private beach. In particular, we appreciated the superior service from one of their staff members at the bar. Thanks Roual!
Negative: The hotel doesn't have good communication for guests staying in hotel rooms. There is no information (in paper or on TV) in the room advising guests of activities and services. As a result, we were turned away when we turned up to dine in the hotel's restaurant because we didn't have a booking. We had no idea we had to book, despite there not being many guests. The person handling it was not very flexible. We didn't feel it was a proper hotel; it was probably more geared for people renting cottages.
