Enter stately 3 story 100 year old Mansion on mountain in Montreals most prestigious area, 6 minutes away from Downtown Montreal by car and 10 minute walk to neighbourhood shopping area. Cafes, restaurants, specialty food shops, retail stores, hair and nail salons etc. As you enter the home you are in the large foyer area looking at beautiful staircase leading up to 2nd floor. The walls throughout the house are filled contemporary art. On the left you have very bright living room with baby grand Piano and fireplace. Next you enter dining room with seating for 12 with large windows and fireplace. Main floor Guest bathroom Next large Kitchen with seating for 8-10 guests, couch sitting area, Wolf gas stove, Miele dish washer etc. there are double doors from kitchen leading out to patio, large dining area, couch area, then wonderful gardens with ponds and waterfall. taking stairs down to pool you can enjoy lounging by the water! There is large mudroom when entering by driveway beside the Kitchengenerally used as main entrance of house.
In front of driveway is detached coach house, once used to keep a horse and buggy 100 years ago. next we head to second floor that has 3 large bedrooms and old world den. First is the Master bedroom with his and hers separate bathrooms and change rooms. hers has shower and tub. Then 2 large kids rooms, one with connecting bathroom and the other with bathroom just outside bedroom. Then charming den with library, and special collection of nautical antiques. Now we go up to 3rd floor. First bedroom with large walk in change-room for a princess! another bedroom and both share a bathroom. there is 3rd room which has been converted to an office. Almost forgot to mention there is outdoor balcony off the 3rd floor. Great escape for the kids and myself also!Half the basement has a large finished area. Big screen tv, couches and a queen bed with California closets. Can be used as bedroom also. Finished bathroom with shower. The is small bed
The laundry room is combined with the furnace room. Rest of basement is used for personal storage.
