A beautifully renovated 2nd floor Dogwood Veranda unit (townhome condo) available for rent at the River Strand Golf and Country Club, a private, gated community with security. Gorgeous views of the golf course, with no other buildings backing on to the property; very quiet and private. Beautiful vaulted ceilings with crown moulding, 2 furnished patio lanais, 2 full bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a den/office, all with ceramics throughout. The spacious living room, dining room, and eat-in kitchen with a bay window overlook the golf course, and the private den can function as an office space if needed. The unit is approximately 1,900 sq. ft., which includes 1,600 sq. ft. of living space and 300 sq. ft. of private outdoor lanais.
The unit includes 2 TVs (master bedroom and living room) with cable, Apple TV and Roku. The den/office is equipped with a laser printer and a large workspace. Wi-Fi throughout. The kitchen is stocked with baking and cooking utensils, along with a slow cooker, rice cooker, blender, Keurig and Nespresso coffee machines, and more. Included in the unit is a wine fridge and a washer and dryer. The unit can sleep up to 6 people, and includes 1 enclosed private car garage & driveway, with extra visitor parking. Two adult cruiser-style bikes with helmets are available for riding around the community.
SORRY, NO SMOKING AND NO PETS. Per River Strand community by-laws, the minimum rental period is one month.
PLEASE NOTE - Full membership transferable to renter and their spouse/common-law partner for a one-time $525 + tax membership transfer fee. This fee is optional if the renter wants club privileges as a member e.g. golf, tennis, pickleball, access to pool and recreation facilities, etc. Golf greens fees can be found on the River Strand website. The membership transfer fee and greens fees are set by the River Strand Board and are subject to change.
The River Strand golf course offers 27 holes with challenging water and sand hazards. Multiple tee blocks make the course accessible to everyone from the competitive golfer to the beginner. Men’s and women’s leagues are available with the membership transfer along with access to many special events. Dinner and drinks can be found after golf at the clubhouse restaurant and at the tiki bar by the clubhouse pool.
The recreation facilities offer a 24-hour fitness center, fitness classes, 9 lighted tennis courts, 8 lighted pickleball courts, and card groups. There are many pools throughout the community, including 2 central pools and several community pools scattered throughout the different units.
At River Strand you feel like you’re at a cottage full of amenities, while also having easy highway access to the restaurants, shopping, culture, and dining of Tampa, St Petersburg, and Sarasota. The area surrounding River Strand offers so much to explore. For shopping, University Town Center, Ellenton Premium Outlets, and Costco are a short drive away. For sunbathing and sand, Anna Maria Island, Siesta Key, and Lido Beach are close by. St Armand’s Circle in Sarasota offers a unique shopping and dining experience, and the sunsets along Longboat Key shouldn’t be missed.
