Summary: We liked the room. It had an excellent view of the river Arno, as well as down into the busy shopping street. Getting into the room was a challenge. First off, if you are travelling by car, you MUST have a pre-arranged parking spot near the hotel. There is absolutely no free parking, and the area is a ZTL. Your pre-arranged parking needs to arrange for you to be able to drive into the ZTL. Failure to have a pass will subject you to a significant fine, that may arrive as much as a year later. It is photo enforced, and they will find you. There is a "parking garage" of sorts under the hotel building. Very limited and very expensive. We parked in Garage Lungarno. Also not cheap, but they have more space. About two blocks to the hotel. There is no lobby. A friendly agent meets you at a time agreed upon over WhatsApp. They have the keys and walk you up to your room.
