A beautiful weekend retreat with exclusive use of heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot tub - ideal for families or couples looking to enjoy some well-deserved quality time together. Benefitting from allocated parking for two cars, the property is perfectly situated for guests looking to explore the Somerset countryside, as well as the heritage cities of Wells and Bath, the festival city of Glastonbury, with the beaches of Weston-Super-Mare and Brean within easy reach.
Adjacent to the owner's home, this first-floor apartment is accessed via a private wooden entrance gate which opens onto a patio area with hot tub. Patio doors lead into the pool area from which the apartment is accessed via an open tread staircase. Guests have exclusive use of the heated indoor swimming pool with poolside loungers, seating and floats, along with 6-person hot tub and indoor sauna. The pool area also benefits from its own shower room with WC.
Heading up the staircase, guests will find a balcony which overlooks the pool, and equipped with clothes drying rail for wet towels and swimwear (guests are advised to take care with young children on the balcony). From the balcony you enter the apartment through the patio doors.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is furnished for relaxation in mind, with a comfy L-shaped corner sofa, tub chair, ultra fast broadband, 70" smart TV (Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ included), and games and puzzles for younger guests.
The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. The two bedrooms are either side of the lounge/kitchen/diner.
The super-king room is light and airy and benefits from two large velux windows with black out blinds, fitted wardrobes, a dressing table, USB charging points. The en-suite shower room with WC leads from this bedroom. The second bedroom features bunk beds, a chest of drawers with mirror and a 32" smart TV. Please note, guests using this room will need to share the en-suite facilities. Guests have use of a the second shower room with WC accessed from the pool room.
Outside via the patio doors, guests can relax in the hot tub. Garden furniture is provided as is a BBQ in the warmer months.
The property is situated in the pretty village of Oakhill which benefits from two great pubs both within walking distance; the Oakhill Inn and the Mendip Inn. All major supermarkets are within easy reach including Waitrose and Tesco.
Electric, central heating and WiFi are included. We regret no children under 2y and no pets. Pool depth is 7ft at the deep end, 4ft in the shallow end. We ask that the pool and hot tub are not used after 9pm. Please note, pool towels are not provided.
