Summary: Access to this hotel is via the sister hotel up the road. This is where reception and breakfast are located. The young man on duty spoke good French but was completely unhelpful and without a grasp of customer service - when I explained the dangerous condition of the lift, he tried to defend it! The lift is only big enough for 1 person plus a bag but when I tried to reverse out of the lift,my foot was caught on the 8cm lip of the lift shaft and I fell over backwards,hitting my head, back and cutting my elbow. This situation is not helped by the absence of lighting on the first floor- the light switch is across the corridor and can't be seen or accessed from the lift. The receptionist on Sunday morning was more receptive to the idea that this was a dangerous condition and understood why there was blood on the sheets. The room was adequate with an acceptable shower and bed. Breakfast was adequate.
