Positive: First off, the host went above and beyond! We were late for our check-in (due to a couple of factors, mostly beyond our control), but he made no fuss, although he had to come back to the property to see us in. What gets me the most is that we (my mum and I) were the only guests that night and were staying for one night only, and I am sure the whole thing was not worth the hassle for him. Yet he welcomed us warmly! The cottages are simple, solar-powered, with comfy and warm beds, and gas heaters (early September nights are chilly!). Our room featured a small but nice bathroom with running water and a simple shower (mind you, tap water is NOT potable). What more do you need here, though? The restaurant is charming, and the view... Ah, the view. We woke up to a thick fog, which then started retreating before the rising sun, slowly unveiling the first meander of Uvac. LOVELY! The two photos offer a glimpse into what it feels like to wake up at Elko's. As the restaurant was closed that morning (Mondays are off), Elko, the host, came in to make us coffee (offering even to get us breakfast in town too, which we declined, having made other plans), and we had a lovely talk about almost everything under the sun. We were sad to have to continue our journey... As for the location, the property is several kilometers away from the famous viewpoint Molitva (which is a must-see!). I honestly can't wait to go back!
