Summary: The plantation property is stupendous. The variety of plants and constant maintenance by the hard working staff makes this resort special. I can describe 2 of the units because we had to vacate the first one after a water pipe broke. Unfortunately we were eating dinner nearby and were told we had until 8 pm we would have to leave because office closed at that time. Similar layout but furnishings and A/C completely different. Also the view because we were moved towards the main entrance and our ocean view was barely visible. Staff was good in most cases, friendly and helpful. One big reason that I would not return is the $$$$ cleaning fee that is charged upon leaving. I’m sure you could pay someone $150 to clean our unit but nearly double that for 1 bedroom. Felt like we were subsidizing the cleaners instead of paying upfront in the nightly rate. Too bad because the place is nice.
