Positive: You ask about breakfast, there was no breakfast?? The car rental at the airport went smoothly. The studio apt. was well equipped with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler etc. It was nicely furnished. Bed was comfortable, there were plenty of sheets and towels. Kitchen well supplied. good not to have to get paper towel, kleenex, toilet paper, etc. All necessary cooking equipment was provided.
Negative: KBM needs to establish better communication with the people at the front desk who run Whaler. I must have emailed and phoned over a dozen times to advise that we would be arriving late - no choice, that was when our plane arrived. I had to walk up from the gate to the reception to get the car in. I think if the information had been passed on to the desk everything would have gone smoother. I had similar problems in getting through to KBM that we would like to leave late as our flight was at 20:05. Texts, emails, phone messages went unanswered until the last day when it was finally sorted. However, we did not receive the departure instructions for the room until we had returned to our home...not much use at that point!!
Summary: Maui is always a treat and this is a comfortable studio apt. in a great location.
