Summary: The location is very convenient, walking distance to the Fortezza da Basso, the train station and fairly close to the city centre. The room was clean. The problems: I ordered the breakfast. This was too expensive (10€) for what it offers considering what you can get from nearby bakeries. More importantly, one of the marmalades had been opened and used. I did not get a satisfactory explanation from the staff or any compensation (i.e. I was asked to pay for this). Apparently I was the only one who was having breakfast that day, so the staff had no idea who ate from my breakfast tray - that's a serious concern regarding hygiene. There was no Internet service throughout my stay (6 nights, 6-12 July 2026). I was only told that there is a problem with the line in the whole neighbourhood. I find it extremely hard to believe that a whole neighbourhood was left without Internet for a whole week. Even if this is the case, I was never offered any alternative or compensation. I was on a business trip, so this was extremely disruptive. I had to buy a sim with unlimited data to be able to work, which of course added to the total cost.
