Summary: Matera is a bit of a labyrinth, so locating rooms of a smaller establishment is a challenge. Family booked a different premise & found it even more challenging. We were advised to park & shuttle from the urban center, though there appeared to be some public parking nearby. It is located on the edge of town, more convenient to hiking trails than dining and siteseeing. Our room was on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. Gianni is a wonderful host- made me wish I spoke Italian:0) The breakfast was very nice.
