Summary: The hotel room I’ve had was over a restaurant, and the noise continued until 24:00. Loud voices of doors slamming continues through the evening. In my case that cause quite bad sleep and unpleasant stay. If you aren’t that sensitive to noise these hotel rooms would probably be ideal. The workers at the hotels seem to be Italian only, so you won’t get very far with English beyond the basics. The room I had (single room) is quite small and it is very basic comfort. The pillows are hard and the mattress as well. For some that isn’t a big of a case, but for me personally that’s essential to have a good night of sleep. The breakfast is not worth the money, and I would rather just buy some food at the grocery shops nearby. All in all I’ve had days of too little sleep and get back home with a lot of sleep to regain. I don’t think that’s what you should expect from a hotel.
