Villa Artemide is a newly built structure located in the municipality of Capoliveri, in the small and quiet village of Madonna Delle Grazie. This is such a peaceful place that in the eighteenth century it was chosen as a refuge by Augustinian friars on their return from the Island of Montecristo. To repay the hospitality they received, they built the shrine which houses an extremely valuable painting said to be based on an original sketch by Michelangelo Buonarroti. Villa Artemide lies in a Mediterranean vegetation setting surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old citrus trees and is just 200 metres from the beach of Madonna Delle Grazie, a small and charming strand of mixed sand and gravel, where in the evenings you can enjoy magnificent sunsets over the Stella Gulf. The splendid coastline is within easy walking distance, where you can enjoy peaceful relaxation in the many small bays and secluded coves.
Villa Artemis comprises three accommodation units; on the first floor we have the three-roomed apartments, Artemide-1 and Artemide-2, while on the ground floor we have Artemide-3 which has two rooms. All apartments can accommodate up to four persons.
The first two apartments differ from the third in that they have two bedrooms (a double and a single) with a shaded terrace. On the other hand, Artemide-3 opens onto a spacious patio and has a double bedroom and two stow-away beds in the living-kitchen room, making it ideal for a family with children.
All are comfortably furnished in a modern style.
