Our home is the ideal place for guests who enjoy unique properties, value stylish design and decor, appreciate homes with history, and want the option to travel by commuter train to downtown Denver and Denver International Airport.
MAIN FLOOR:
The main floor features a primary bedroom suite with a private attached bathroom, a full kitchen, living room, dining room with large bay window, and enclosed front porch. You'll also find the laundry room and an additional full bathroom on the main level.
The main floor bedroom includes a king size bed with a CertiPur memory foam mattress, dressers for clothing storage, and a Roku smart TV.
In the kitchen you’ll find a gas range with double oven, a microwave, dishwasher, coffee station, dishwasher, and refrigerator with filtered water dispenser. The kitchen is nicely stocked with utensils, knives, baking dishes, cooking tools, pots, pans, plates/dishes, etc. Other kitchen amenities include a rice cooker, coffee pot, keurig coffee maker, wine glasses, regular mugs/glasses, metal cocktail shaker, plastic containers, colander, can opener, wine cork/bottle opener, and lemon juicer.
The living room has plenty of seating, natural light, and is where you'll find a chess set and other board games. There's also a lantern that is a bluetooth speaker if you'd like to jam out your favorite tunes. The gas fireplace for cozy winter evenings is one of our favorite things, especially when it's snowing outside. The dining room table has plenty of space and seating for dinner all together! The enclosed front porch has seating, a desk, and a table perfect for puzzles! This front porch is a great place to enjoy long evenings in the spring, summer, and fall.
The laundry room has a full size washer/dryer, a place to put your shoes and additional luggage, and a coat rack. You'll also have a bathroom on the main level that has a vanity, claw foot tub with shower handle, and a toilet. There’s also an additional entrance here that can be used to access the outdoor patio and yard.
UPSTAIRS:
The upstairs area can live like a separate unit. Great for two families traveling together. Each can have their own space...one down stairs, one upstairs.
Walk up the narrow solid wood staircase from the laundry room (please watch your step) which takes you into one of the two upstairs bedrooms. This first bedroom upstairs features another king sized bed (Certipur memory foam mattress- the best!), a dresser, Roku TV*, side tables with built-in charging stations (including USB), and peekaboo mountain views. Enjoy sunsets from this room too!
When you pass through the first bedroom, you'll then enter the comfortable common living area upstairs. This space features a dining area, a sitting area with a Roku TV*, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The kitchenette includes a sink, a small fridge with freezer, an air fryer/toaster, microwave, and a Keurig coffee station. You'll have basic dishes, mugs, utensils, and knives but keep in mind this is not a full kitchen. There is no dishwasher upstairs, just in the main kitchen on the first floor. We also have wine glasses and wine bottle opener.
The coffee station upstairs features a Keurig. With the reusable filter you can use the coffee pot feature. Or just use the k-cup pods! We do have small creamer packets for you as well.
In the upstairs living area closets, you'll find a luggage rack, an iron and ironing board, space heaters, and a place to hang clothes.
The upstairs bathroom is off of the living area and features a vanity, toilet, and shower. We also include helpful items like shampoo/conditioner, body wash, make-up washcloths, towels, and hair dryer. The bathroom has a separate heater vent for the winters.
The second upstairs bedroom/office is connected to the main living area. It features a full/double bed, a desk, a comfy chair, and a clothes rack. There is also a portable air conditioning unit to use on extra warm days.
*You'll be able to access the TVs in "guest mode" so you can sign in to your account for popular services like Netflix, Prime, and Hulu.
OUTSIDE:
The outside is one of our favorite things about being at our home! Our yard is very big and is fully fenced. We have large trees which provide nice shade in the summer. There are flower gardens, a vegetable garden, and two patios along with a gas grill and two gas firepits. Plenty of places to enjoy being outside in Colorado! You'll even see plenty of birds including a flock of wild turkeys and hear owls occasionally. A bird watchers paradise! :)
OTHER NOTES:
You'll enter the home through the side entrance that has a red door. That's where the keypad is located. The front door of the home remains locked so you wont be able to enter through the front door.

There is central air conditioning and heating. But we've also included a portable air conditioning unit and space heaters upstairs to help during more extreme temperature days in Colorado! Please do NOT put thermostat below 70* for the AC.
We love hosting and helping guests have a wonderful stay in Colorado but we do have to share some rules and administrative items (not fun but it's part of the gig!):

We do not allow parties, events, meetings, commercial use, or guests above the registered number (4 max). We will ask you to leave without refund for such usage.
Sometimes items are left behind. While we're not responsible for them, we'll do our best to help return them to you. You are responsible for shipping costs plus a $50 convenience fee (we'll most likely send you a request for the additional funds through vrbo). Any items not claimed after 14 days will be disposed of.
